We invite abstracts of proffered papers on the TCM/Acupuncture, Ayurvedam Naturapathym Homeopathy, Mind/Body/Music/Energy Therapies, Nutrilion, Exercise, Health Services Research, Research Methodology, or other topics in preclinical research or clinical topics.

Abstracts of superior quality will be selected by the Conference Abstract Review Committee for presentation at the 6th Annual Society for Integrative Oncology Conference and published in the JSIO journal. They will be available for viewing online at the SIO website, along with slide presentations and posters.

The scientific program consists of plenary lectures and mini-symposia by experts in clinical and basic research, selected slide and poster presentations chosen from the submitted abstracts, educational sessions, award lectures and forums and case discussions. General sessions are 2-3 hours in duration and are the vehicle for slide presentations, which are allotted 10 minutes each followed by 5 minutes of discussion. Specific instructions for the preparation of slides and posters along with a draft copy of the program will be mailed to each Presenter. They will also be available for viewing online at the SIO website in December.

The size limit for the abstract is 500 words which includes the following: Abstract Body, Table and Figures (title and authors are not included in the word count). The abstract sections are: Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusion. You will receive email notification of when your abstract is successfully submitted. Notification of the results of the abstract review will occur in September 2009.
