August 2009: SIO publishes revised and up-to-date Practice Guidelines.
In 2007, SIO published its inaugural evidence-based practice guidelines, based on the best clinical research.
This is the the only source for evidence-based comprehensive, graded guidelines on complementary therapies for oncology. It is available free for SIO members and through special requests and licensing arrangements: 2007 guidelines are available for open-access:
November 2009: Society for Integrative Oncology Sixth International Conference at the New York Academy iof Medicine: Nov 12-13. Free press passes available for appropriate applicants.
