The Ninth International Conference of the Society for Integrative Oncology will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, co-sponsored by the Society for Integrative Oncology, the University of New Mexico School of Medicine Section of Integrative Medicine and the University of New Mexico Cancer Research Treatment Center. The theme is “Honoring Diversity in Cancer Prevention and Control” exploring areas on health disparities, cancer prevention and control, diet, exercise and lifestyle. Registration and Abstract submission information will be avialable April 2012.

New Mexico, “the Land of Enchantment,” with its turquoise skies and diverse, rugged Southwestern landscapes, reflects southwestern charm through its unique blend of culture and heritage. The conference will also coincide with the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, one of the world’s largest hot air balloon festivals.
