The SIO Shanghai International Symposium was an opportunity for oncologists, TCM practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to learn about the latest research on TCM for cancer. In addition to conventional pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, investigators also presented the results of research examining a broad range of complementary topics including acupuncture, nutritional products, herbal medicines, and TCM theory. The Shanghai International Symposium was an opportunity to foster international collaborations between investigators in China and around the world in the investigation of TCM.
The symposium was hosted by Fudan University Cancer Hospital and The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
